Riviere is actively involved in both professional and community service. She currently serves on the boards of the Atlanta Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and the Younger Lawyers division of the Federal Bar Association. She is also a member of the Younger Professional Council for Georgia Appleseed, focusing on securing housing for youth aging out of foster care. Following her externship with Judge Grimberg in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, she developed a keen interest in alternative courts such as RISE and ATL Court where she serves on the board.
Prior to practicing law, Riviere spent several years teaching at the elementary and high school levels in Metro Atlanta. During law school, she was the president and founder of the GSU Federal Bar Association, a member of the Moot Court Team, Black Law Students Association, and the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers.
